Hi guys, I am looking for a new job. I'm currently working retail but with a child on the way, I'm afraid it's not going to be enough, since my wife will be unable to work for quite some time due to some complications. I'm looking to move into a job relating to networking/computing. I have no experience working in this field, so I would even consider a part-time unpaid internship if it allowed me to get my foot in the door. I recently passed my CCENT and signed up for the CCNA test in Jan. I live in the Bay Area California, and can commute within the region. My daughter is due in March, so I hope to have a position by then, anything you guys can do to help would be greatly appreciated.

Willing to relocated to anywhere in the country, especially the mid atlantic, or west coasts. PM me or send an email to miloszm@clarkson.edu if you would like my resume. Thanks.

Potentially several (2-3 maybe) software developer positions opening up in Huntsville, AL.

They're not too terribly picky at this point, so if you're college grad or experienced, willing to relocate to a very technical/research area (which is really nice by the way, not "deep south" but much more of a melting pot), and have programming experience preferably with C/C++, C# or VB6/.Net, feel free to PM me.

FYI: I was told any programmer/developer resumes would be looked at, so I don't think they're looking for any specific experience at the moment.

I've hired someone through this thread before, so I'll post again. I have two immediate open positions in Norcross, GA (outside of Atlanta). We're a large website with a casual work environment.

1. Software Engineer - infrastructure-related programming, VB.NET. Comp Sci degree or equivalent experience required.
2. Deployment Engineer - responsible for deploying the code to the website. Degree not required but you should understand networking/architecture and have some technical experience (scripting, basic programming, etc).

I have tended to hire entry-level people before but am willing to consider mid-level developers as well. .NET experience is not required for #1 but preferred.

PM for details. I have not posted these jobs yet but will this week.

Anyone know of defense or aerospace companies hiring entry level software engineers? I have a BS in Computer Engineering and have about 18 months experience in software requirements, dev, and test for DO-178B software.

Also, thanks for the heads up on Garmin, Modelworks. I didn't realize they had aviation products. I interviewed with them two years ago but when the onsite request came, I had already decided on another offer. I see a couple postings for positions that I have experience with and that's great find for me. I'm gonna apply tomorrow!
