2025 seems too quick, but the point in time it is possible is not much further than that. Plugin Electric vehicles will become more common each year and soon all Auto Manufacturers will be offering them.

Not always the case. Even the garage in the older building I'm in now has 110 outlets aplenty, while not optimal they could be utilized. I also had a 7.7kw charger installed in my condo parking space without any issues from the board.

The three rental buildings I lived in out in CA all had at least one level 2 EVSE charging station (the last one had enough for 1/3rd of the garage).

Would be interesting if they ever get wireless charging to the point where car batteries could be trickle charged. Then I could see it happening.
