The quality is fine on my Nexus S. Will this work if I were to travel abroad and connected through wifi?

App works on the Droid 1 stock froyo, but won't stream movies. Supposedly it works fine streaming with custom GB roms though.

Does not work at all on my Vibrant though.

It'll work on the Droid 1 and the Vibrant if you're running 2.3 Gingerbread. The key to getting it to work on current unsupported devices seems to be 2.3.

Part of me is glad this finally exists, but geez does it eat battery. Unlike the Yotube app which uses the DSP, this app doesn't seem to. On my Nook Color it leaves my CPU pegged (like when watching Hulu) which means that I would be surprised if I could watch Netflix for three hours.

Works on my OG Droid/CM7. As above, picture quality isn't as good as HQ Youtube/Vevo IMO. Have Gangs of New York going via 3G. See what happens to the battery life.

I'll have to get my wife to download it on her Evo. Too bad it doesn't support my Epic (yet). But her Evo does have a larger screen and a kickstand.

*sigh* If you had been following this at all, or just merely googled a bit on the subject, you'll find out quickly that it's limited to very specific hardware because of DRM needs dictated by the MPAA. People are finding work arounds to get other devices to use it, but officially there aren't a ton of supported devices. It's not because of slow hardware, it's because of encryption and hardware DRM.

There is no hardware DRM requirement (at least not with this version). If there was you wouldn't be able to stream on unsupported devices.
