Nay. Exercise a shred of common sense (a rarity around here, I know) and only quote the specific part that you need. Do the world a favor and edit out the vast amounts of drivel that don't apply.

Nested quotes don't bother me as much as people 'fixing' previous quotes. That should be a bannable offense.
 
If I were a mod, anything more than 3 nested quotes would be a permanent ban in my book. Guess it's good that I'm not a mod. It's a complete lack of respect and about 10 years late to the joke.

This. The laws of diminishing returns does not apply to nested quotes. More = better, bottom line.
 
Nested quotes should almost always be removed unless they're absolutely necessary to understand the post in itself, but typically, people read a post from beginning to end (or rather, they should in most cases), so keeping more is unnecessary.

I almost always strip everything but the outer quote whenever I respond unless for some reason, I deem it's better to keep the inner quote. But typically, if you need to keep an inner quote, that means your outer quote is most likely a worthless response. So your true "target" of your post would most likely be the inner quote anyway.
