Trying to print out my taxes and I keep getting this error:

It's a HP P1000 printer that I'm using across a Network, I have tried to reinstall the printer but it won't print the test page, any ideas??

but maybe the solution will fix your problem too.
Is the printer on a print server, another client, the server, or it's own network card?
 
Try updating the printer drivers on the print server...you don't mention what OS's are involved, and that can make a difference, particulary if you're mixing NT and Win9x families.
