Need help with printer spool problem

Trying to print out my taxes and I keep getting this error:

It's a HP P1000 printer that I'm using across a Network, I have tried to reinstall the printer but it won't print the test page, any ideas??

This lists different software,
but maybe the solution will fix your problem too.
Is the printer on a print server, another client, the server, or it's own network card?

The printer is just hooked up to another computer on the network

Try updating the printer drivers on the print server...you don't mention what OS's are involved, and that can make a difference, particulary if you're mixing NT and Win9x families.
