I just finished Rise of the Tomb Raider, an excellent game on my much slower overclocked gtx960 4gb on high settings at about 50fps. A gtx1060 will easily play the game on very high at 60+ fps. Its been my experience that very high and ultra are not all that much different. I use a 1080p monitor @ 60hz.

I just finished Rise of the Tomb Raider also and needed to drop to high with a couple of settings at medium to get a consistent 60 fps with my 970, and even then I still get plenty of drops into the mid to high 50s in the village.
