ProStreet was terrible. First NFS game in years that I haven't bought. I was lucky I decided to try the demo first, otherwise it would have been a complete waste of money.

Hopefully Undercover will be a lot closer to what Most Wanted was...

i have prostreet as well, the games sucks. Drove me nuts after awhile the announcer kept saying Ryan Cooper

lol, true! I almost forgot about that part of the game, I had to kill the announcer voice because of that..

Two reviews on Metacritic, a 65 and a 75.
For those wanting Most Wanted, they say that's what it is.

A good time can be had, but only if you're patient...and a really big fan of Most Wanted. [Holiday 2008, p.68]
NFS of old was about hot cars, hot pursuits and miles and miles of open road, and Undercover make a semi-successful fist of recapturing some of this magic. Looks great, plays fine. There?s no getting around the fact, however, that Undercover is basically Most Wanted with a new lick of paint. Can somebody please green-light Hot Pursuit 3? Surely the open-world horse has been well-and-truly flogged?

Hmm...well being comparable to Most Wanted isn't a terrible thing, so it could be much worse. Going to have to check out some videos of the gameplay and the updated graphics to see for myself.

You must have hated Carbon, since it was almost a cross between MW and Underground 2. Don't really recall the gameplay of Underground 1.

One of the complaints I did have as far as Carbon was that the production values seemed to be lower -- the live action cut scenes were really cheesy, the in-game cut scenes didn't look that great, and a lot of the music seemed to be from no-name artists.

Really want the pursuit... if a car game doesnt have pursuit... i better play 3 in a line lol....

What!!!! yeah right....

anyway... is there anyone here that can tell how is the multiplayer? kinda looking for the cops and robbers type lol

I hear is today.. i mean yesterday... well actually today in stores... but dunno where it was 17... which was yesterday here...

oh by the way in best buy... the ps3 and xbox one is for 60 bucks.. strange because the pc one is 40 bucks.... dont u think that is odd...

Not really. The PC versions usually seem to be a bit cheaper than the console versions. I suppose it's because PC gamers are accustomed to paying $40-$50 for new releases, and trying to shake them down for more than that will drive even more people to piracy. I'm not one of those who *must* have the game on release day, so I'm content to wait until the price drops enough to get the game (bought MW and Carbon new for around $15-$20 each).

wow... I am getting feeling someone is paying to get this game bashed.... because they are all talking crap about the game.... like the same voices.. same cars and such... but if u take a look at a gameplay utube video u will notice the diferent voices and music and cars lol.... and always mentioning midnight club here and there....

Yeah, the game is great, is just that everyone doesn't seem to notice. 😉

always like NFS... even prostreet.... well prostreet no pursuit was like... 🙁(( but in the end i played it from start to finish lol....

by the way if u dont like nfs then play other thing like GRID or something like that.... dont hope for a real NFS.... NFS is like holywood style chasing... lol... if u want real there is plenty of real racing stuff there....

some people think NFS is annoying... and go real racing....

other think real like racing sucks because u need to keep restarting the crap 10 times to win.... and sliding is annoying... and they go NFS...

Bottom line.... NFS still going....

For all of you (EA Haters) I have to tell u something.... I am a Ubisoft Hater... thats it... and EA lover my self.. hahaha.. lol...

OK

I took some time to play it for a bit a few hours ango and I have to agree with the majority of the reviews (that means the bad ones unfortunately).
I thought the exact same thing one revierwer said - it's Maddenized!
Same shit, different year.
They should start naming them NFS2008, NFS2009, etc.
I grew up playing the originals, but couldn't maike it through Most Wanted.
Too much BS and bad acting, not enough innovation and originality.
I went back to playing Flatout:UC...
