Seriously?

I don't see how you have any right to complain. You should be grateful your parents are allowing you to live with them and helping you out with college. If the house isn't to your liking, you could always start working and get your own place.

Well you shouldn't really need a queen sized bed; twin size is the largest I've ever slept in.

My bedroom was 10x12. Room for a bed, dresser, desk, and shelves in there, with some floorspace.

Some fun surprises and issues in the house my parents bought:
- They'd stuck a narrow fish tank in the wall between what would become my bedroom and the livingroom. Yeah, privacy right there - a clear window to the livingroom. The previous owners took the tank with them, leaving a big hold in the wall. My uncle is a decent handyman type, and he was able to help us get that patched up.

- No electric garage door openers at all (OMG nooooes!!!)

- Cat crap in one of the closets.

- "No flooding or moisture problems." Hah. Hah. Hah. The basement flooded 1-2" deep anytime it rained for more than a few days in a row. All the carpeting down there had to get ripped out.

- Some of the "finishing" done in the basement by the previous owner was laughable. 1/2" nails used to hold furring strips to the wall. Problem: The strips are 1/2" thick. Guess how deep the nails penetrated. On the plus side, ripping that crap down was sure easy.
The paneling he used was really rough stuff, and after tearing it down, the printing on it said that it was actually meant for exterior use.

- The drop ceiling in the basement was just......really amateurishly installed. And one of the ceiling tiles held several books. I don't remember what kind, but they seemed quite benign; odd that they'd be hidden like that.

- The ballasts in the garage lights were only rated to 50°F; I don't know if they cheaped out, or if that's all that was available when the lights were installed. I refitted the lights with instant start electronic ballasts, rated as low as 0°F.

- The wood stove downstairs was useless, as was the fireplace. There was a downdraft in the chimney strong enough to blow out a match, and the convection effects of a good fire weren't enough to fight it - opening the stove to refuel resulted in smoke billowing out. After spending several thousand dollars on various "sure-fire" fixes, and rebuilding the chimney completely, the "solution" is to have a fan in the chimney to force a proper draft.

- The basement had only one real "room" in it, which was mainly used for storage. My dad and I, along with someone else skilled in home improvement, added in the rooms I mentioned. I also wound up doing a fair amount of the renovations downstairs myself, as well as some landscaping outside, courtesy of a small rented backhoe and cement mixer.

Something to bear in mind: However old you are, you're probably not going to be living there for too awfully long yet, correct? Your parents might be reluctant to make many changes for someone who's not going to be living there for very long. On the other hand, if you're quite useful around the house, and get along well with your parents, they might not mind making some adjustments to better accommodate you.

Also, did you say your parents are paying for college for you?

I've got one class left (senior project), and I'm done. It was paid for with:
- Pell grants, and a few small scholarships
- >$20K in student loans
- Two summers at a shitty warehouse job, but it paid $10/hr to start, which is decent pay around here for low-skill work.
- Work-study jobs on campus

We moved because my parents want to be with their grandchildren more than me. I don't really understand it at all. See... My half-brother and half-sister are not college graduates, they are like my mother and father. They are going to be the hard working people who work very hard to just get by. It's like, they never tried to be more. It just seems like I am the only one who is aiming for more, and really wants it.

 Give me a friggin break. It's quite obvious why your parents want to be closer to their grandchildren. Hard working is better than being a leech.

That's my problem right now; I have absolutely no clue now, at all. Probably get a four year business degree or something, because I have no clue what to do with my life now. I was going to be an electrical engineer, and then I just lost all hope in it.

Sounds like you need a kick in the ass or a smack upside the head.

Most colleges don't require you to declare a major until your junior year so don't worry about everything all at once. That being said, don't completely throw away your degree decision based on some emo ho-hum bullshit just yet.

No shit. Oh Noes!!! I'm going to have a smaller bedroom. I had to share a bedroom with my brother when I grew up. I'd be jealous to have my own room.

What turned you away from it?

No question though, engineering majors aren't easy. But, if you slog through the homework, you'll probably be ok for the tests.

If you can't make it through a business degree program though, damn, that's just sad. :p

And if you think that little room of yours is bad, you should try a dorm room. It's a small room and you have to share it with someone. Oh, and you only get that room to yourself. There's no house attached to it that just has your family. You also get to know the joy of showering in a stall every day, and using what is basically a public restroom, complete with standard dividers and econo-size rolls of toilet paper, just like you'd find in the bathroom at a local Walmart.
It varies from person to person; some people just love the dorm experience. I hated every last minute of it. No personal space, no privacy, and no quiet. Imagine unleashing a herd of 150lb toddlers in a toy store. Expect no more civility out of college students in a dorm.

A possibility to help make more room: They have bunk bed sorts of things that have a desk on the bottom.
(Though you should be able to fit a twin-size bed and a computer desk easily into nearly any bedroom. )
Something along the lines of this.

Oh, and "been there, still doing that" on that whole "no friends" thing. ATOT is my friend. My schizophrenic, manic-depressive, savant friend, whom I can switch off and on at will. :p

I can't say I'm really a "fun" person. I can be witty and all that, and amusing in that sense, but I don't really do much. I don't like bars, I don't like movie theaters, I don't like amusement parks, I don't like noisy, chaotic parties, and I don't drink. (Alcohol = yuck, and I don't care for the idea of losing what sense of control I do have.)

Here is your problem. Time to turn off the computer, go outside, and live life. Otherwise you'll always be a loser.

You're not the only one who has had problems dude. Just stop being so depressed about it.(Easier said than done, but that's what you gotta do) The future is what you make of it. Don't think down on college either, your life will feel a lot more fulfilled while you are attending. You will really feel like your life is moving forward, it feels good. If your house is messy, clean it up. Positive attitude will totally change how you see everything.

Considering I live in my bedroom basically, it matters a lot to me. I don't have friends, don't have anything but the computer... If I can't fit my fucking computer and my bed in one room together, then I really have a problem with it. The computer is my life, because I have no friends. Ok? I am not compatible with very many people.

Don't you fucking think it's time to grow-up and get a life? Or at least seek on campus counseling?

Gee, no friends, gf, driver's license, car, no motivation to get a job, etc... and has a nervous breakdown b/c his bedroom might not fit his queen size bed and computer. How about getting a fucking smaller bed?

And you wonder why your parents like their children/grand children more.
