Mowing lawns, fixing computers, and saving for many-frikkin' years of christmas/birthday money. I also sold some stuff I owned.
why can't you do these things now to earn money?
I don't know anyone. I could advertise my "service" on craigslist, but lol... That won't really go anywhere. "Kid will mow your lawn."
"Guy will fix your computer, most likely... No certifications FYI."
go door to door this spring and offer to mow lawns. do the same for shoveling snow now.
