No!!!!!

I was enjoying the fighting/negotiations. Sometimes the business of sports is more interesting than the actual game.

So how much money does Billy Hunter pocket after selling out the players? (Not that I feel for those poor, underpaid players anyway)

And in this case of the NBA lockout, the lockout was vastly more interesting than 60+ almost meaningless games leading up to the playoff games that actually matter and in which the players attempt to play the entire game instead of the last quarter.

From what I have been reading, and the details are light so far, the players did pretty well for themselves considering the concessions they had already offered that weren't "good enough" for the owners.

FINALLY!

I can't wait to finally see my Timberwolves start to turn things around now that we've added Rubio, Williams, and Adelman.

Don't forget Kevin Love! With Adelman at the helm they should play uptempo, they certainly have the horses for it.

Now I gotta watch the free agent period very closely so I can pick my top 8 teams for the League Pass. T Wolves just might make the cut this year.

I couldn't care less about the NBA as entertainment (it's not for me) but I'm glad for the local economies that rely on revenue generated due to league games.

I'm interested in the cap. If its a hard cap or something similar chances are mavs will lose Chandler and Barea.
🙁

Not a hard cap but more punitive. Big spending teams like the Mavs and Lakers will feel more pain for going over to the extent that they do now. The Lakers probably won't be able to pull off the Bynum + Odom for Dwight Howard deal now.

That's BS. If the small market teams actually had an owner willing to spend and fans that would go the game then they'd have more to spend. Cuban loses millions yearly and on top of that Dallas has one of the longest active streaks in the NBA for consecutive sellouts. Sorry if the fans don't want to support the team then deal with the fact you'll have a shitty team.

I doubt Cuban is happy about the deal. From leaks that came out about the meetings, Cuban was adamant about taking the opportunity to revamp the league and offered some interesting proposals that the other dead beat owners frowned upon.

The NBA should contract out teams and/or owners that aren't ready to go all in for basketball like NY or Dallas. The league suffers when Charlotte is playing Sacramento and nobody wants to watch it.
