Beautiful launch. Could not have gone any more perfect.
Great job to all involved.

It's nice to see us back in space without paying the Russians. SpaceX has thoroughly impressed me between this and starlink.

I was in the business for 39 years and I still can't get over the return of the booster.

My coworkers and I (who are in the business) were suitably impressed when we watched the dual booster landings during the first falcon heavy launch. It’s really amazing.

Now that we have a commercial corporation launching crewed rockets, how long until we start seeing entirely commercial launches manned by commercially rather than government trained astronauts? (Bring on Weyland-Yutani yeeeeaaahhh!!! Oh, wait...)

Now that we're in a commercial space era, I want to see a permanently manned moon base in my lifetime. A mars colony would just be gravy on top.

Anyone know where I can find a side-by-side photo of the control panels (not sure of the technical term, but the panel with all of the controls, switches, gauges, etc.) of an Apollo Command Module, Soyuz capsule and that of the Dragon?

I’m so pissed—my wife tells me it was scrubbed around 1pm or so and I go out on a few errands. While out I glanced at the phone and saw the breaking news headline re: launch and audibly screamed “FUCK!!!” in the middle of a Target store.
