According to Google we average some 1,000,000 new legal immigrants a year, or about 2740 a day. So it would seem your argument is worthless.
My argument has nothing to do with the numbers. It's about how the anti-immigration crowd fancies themselves patriots, in the same mold as the Founding Fathers, while being seemingly being ignorant of the fact that the Founding Fathers were all strongly pro-immigration.
BTW, if you bother to look it up (which I know you won't), you might find out that the Founding Fathers' primary grievance against King George with regards to immigration wasn't just that he prevented immigration to the colonies, but that he passed laws preventing immigrants already residing in the colonies from becoming legal colonial citizens. Sound familiar?
BTW, a personal note, your ongoing use of straw men, false generalizations, and outright lies reflects poorly, not just on your character, but on your arguments. You appear intellectually lazy and rabidly partisan. Such persons aren't worth arguing with, and should rightly be disregarded. So if you're acting that way because you feel disregarded, you might want to consider your own involvement there.
