isnt' 90% white fish sold actually tilapia?
I'd be uber happy knowing it's actually cod OR haddock
Nah, they aren't good for my girlish figureLook up Jacques Pepin on YouTube. He'll show you how to make crepes in 2 minutes. Great skill to have in your pocket for a quick meal or dessert.
it was a superior arby's
Actually, I was just guessing. We ate haddock and cod at home AFAIR. I prefer haddock and cannot remember the last time I had Halibut, but now I'll be looking for it. Not sure where I'll find it, not carried normally at the grocery store. We don't have a fish store in the city (~60 minutes from the coast by highway). @WelshBloke 's post is making my mouth water. The best fish in chips place nearby closed due to CovidHalibut or bust
When I was really young...it was like the mid 70s...all of our neighbors got together and made something called a "Safari supper." You would go to each person's house like Trick or Treaters, and every house made a unique entree. It was like a multi-house buffet. Don't remember any of the food served but I'm sure it was 70's sheik (lots of Jello and casseroles most likely).
Costco sells fresh and frozen halibut. It's about $16 /lb or so I believe.Actually, I was just guessing. We ate haddock and cod at home AFAIR. It's both of those, along with pollak, hake, and an actual species called whitefish. Cod loins are in big demand, so the fish stick people typically use the cheaper/less desirable cuts of the fish for that stuff.isnt' 90% white fish sold actually tilapia?

Cod was in such big demand here that our stocks were depleted and the fishery shut down. It's both of those, along with pollak, hake, and an actual species called whitefish. I have tried several different fish for fish & chips. I like halibut the most.Cods better for fish and chips.
Halibut is great but it's not fish and chips fish!I have tried several different fish for fish & chips. I like halibut the most.
Wow, I remember these.
LOL. You can eat here. What a slogan.
Now you're talkin'!I really miss my mom's ox tail soup. Man, that was some really good stuff!!!
Wendy's is by far my favorite fast-food place, but their restaurants are hit and miss. I have one near my work that makes everything fresh and absolutely top-notch every time. The one closest to my house seems to make all the burgers and fries at the beginning of the day and reheats them as neededI had a Wendy’s burger yesterday it was dry, small and sad looking. I miss the old Wendy’s where food was cooked fresh and just better all around.
I miss this strange open face grilled cheese sandwich from high school, one thin tomato slice, one thick piece of cheese, one slice of bread. I think it was baked, bread was very buttery tasting but I’m sure it was some sort of spray on oil.
Sort of bland but I remember the taste well heavy on the butter flavor and slightly smoky.
Moms pot roast, it was really comforting on a cold day
