Rollercoaster Tycoon III, still fun to this day. This thread has inspired me to dig up my DVD and install it again.

Mostly puzzle games are non violent. Unfortunately I seem to be in to violent games as just about every rpg I play has a fair amount of violence. Guess I don't play very many puzzle games; portal was fun but you mentioned that already. Never really played the jewel/bejweled sort of games.

you have a point about KOTOR, but when has someone gone on a killing spree with a light saber? Since he did not mention specifically that the game was for a child, I assumed he wanted some conflict and good gameplay without excessive violence.
