Apparently, the number of "Diamonds" the girl is rated by the service.

Heh, I wondered if he billed it to the state. I would think that could result in prison time. Bubba will show Spitzer his diamonds :p

i seriously doubt the $5500 per hour escorts are sex slaves.
you can get american women at that price:p

what about the other clients?? Since other clients are, probably, not as famous, will the names be released? how/why did spitzer's name get tied to client 9?

They just read out the transcripts.
The act happened at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC.
He offered her 3600, she said how about 1500 more.

the hotel:

Apparrently its very popular for government officials.

been to the mayflower for conference... was happy I was not paying for it, even convention rate.

"Kristen" spoke with a Emperors Club booker, who said that she had been told that Client-9 "would ask you to do things that, like, you might not think were safe..." "Kristen" responded by saying, essentially, that she could handle guys like that

d'oh - I'm having Marv Albert flashbacks.

so i guess putting in the escort agreement that 'what is being purchased is company, anything else is the voluntary, consensual act of two adults' doesn't really work?

From the transcript , he paid for the room, her travel fees, plus the hourly fee.

Also it wasn't his first time.
LEWIS told Client-9 that his balance was
$2,721.41, and that if he wanted to do an additional "150OU or
even "2000" it would be better. Client-9 said that he did not
know if he could get to a machine to do that, but he would see.
LEWIS said that 'Kristen" would go directly to room ,871.

So its multiple counts.

Maybe, he paid for the investment advice and the sex was free?

Interesting note: Spitzer is a "super-delegate" for Hillary. Wonder what happens there. Probably just passes his status on to a replacement.

heh - he also blogs at Daily Kos.

Spitzer looks like he's trying to swallow his own head so he can disappear.

wife's not that bad looking either

too bad she's free! if she charged him $6500 an hour we probably won't have this mess

I have never believed prostitution should be in any way illegal...however, if you're a politician and have acted AGAINST prostitution in your career and are then found to be involved in it I think you should suffer the absolute maximum penalties allowed, kicked out of politics for life, and made a mockery of on every news outlet for the next decade.

He is sooooooo dead.

In other news, apparently he isn't resigning. What a tool if true.

i honestly don't care if hes banging a hooker as long as he's not stealing from his workplace to pay for it. i dont think that the things are really related like some people seem to think.

its like saying that people who downloaded an mp3 before cannot be trusted
