I normally have 5-6 meals spaced out pretty evenly throughout the day. But now that I'm working, the spaces between meals is kind of off. I eat most of my calories after work. Then I gotta lift 5-6 times a week to make use of the creatine (don't wanna take the stuff without lifting beforehand). Used to just do a whole bunch of excercises in one day and take about 3 rest days a week. I'm also training to run this mini marathon. I'd like to seperate my cardio and take care of running in the morning and lifting when I come back from work, but I have to get up around 6 to go to work and running at 5 would literally kill me (not a morning person AT ALL). So I end up having to eat as soon as I get home from work, get to the gym asap, lift for about an hour. By the time I get back it's around 7:00-7:30. Then I gotta contemplate eating another meal after working out and pushing my run back to 10 (I usually run at 9). Reason is I like to put 2 hours between my last meal and my run cuz running on a full stomach is no good for me. So now that I have to divide my workouts and fit my run in the same 4 hours (along with 2 meals), things have gotten semi hectic. I'm also not sure how to spend my time wisely in the gym now that I have to space my excercises out more. I'm trying to focus on one section per day but I feel like it takes 30-45 minutes tops to finish my workouts. Gah..
One a positive note, it'll be interesting to see what effect this routine has on my body.
Edit: As a side note, I have been keeping up with my running routine 100% 🙂 I'm trying to get my roommate to put money on the event. As far as he's concerned, all I do is lift, not run.
