So, two weeks in how do you feel? How are your workouts treating you and have you noticed any weight change?

So, two weeks in how do you feel? How are your workouts treating you and have you noticed any weight change?

i feel the same, meaning after some adjustments like adding more protein to my breakfast, i feel the same as i did before i started but keep in my mind that i had already been doing paleo albeit with cheating on the weekends so most likely i had already switched over to whatever happens when you cut carbs like this which i believe is burning fat for energy.

i haven't been weighing myself but my pants are noticeably looser since 2 august. however, i'm not sure if that can be directly attributed to this diet or to a continuation of paleo and working out regularly or perhaps some combination. i've also noticed in this time that shaving takes a little longer because my jaw is more angular (read: less rounded ;-)) and by a little longer i mean like 30 seconds per side but it's noticeable. again, i can't be sure this is attributable solely to the diet.

my workout level seems to be the same. i did hit a snatch PR last week but that was because it was my first recorded 1RM. i was still happy with my performance since it is such a complex movement. i did have some trouble with some front squats we were doing last week but i believe that was because we were doing sets of 5 with a 3 second pause at the bottom which is crazy tough though you wouldn't think it would be. during more cardio-based workouts i feel like my output is still the same though it's hard to be entirely empirical because my workouts are seldom the same so frames of reference are difficult. i can only say at the very least that i don't FEEL like my output has suffered, ie - i don't feel any more tired or weak or fail reps more than i did before (with the additional protein at breakfast, which i needed prior to the workouts i do at noon; previously i was eating 3 fried eggs, 1 sausage patty and 3 strips of bacon every weekday for breakfast; i wonder why my cholesterol was so high).
