It's one of the great mysteries of my life. But I noticed being a nice, thoughtful guy landed me zero women. Lots of friends but no girlfriends. Letting my hair down, literally and becoming crude rude and obnoxious did the trick. Weird, but the more sassy and dismissive I became the more women I attracted. And that's the truth.
