Yeah, it was an easy gig, especiall considering that 7 of 10 batteries for field radios were DOA. It was great fun! 🙂

The batteries are better, now. Even more fun! 🙂

If you had been on my prison detail I would have shot your ass just because. I never did like Okies.

I had to look up Fort MacArthur.

That was before my time, but I'm a First Sergeant, now. There's a shit load of articles under the UCMJ that you could be charged under.

Let's see...

Article 91?Insubordinate conduct toward warrant officer, noncommissioned
officer, or petty officer

Article 92?Failure to obey order or regulation

Article 96?Releasing prisoner without proper authority

Article 98?Noncompliance with procedural rules

Article 134?(Drinking liquor with prisoner)

But that's just me being a fucking smart-ass, petty and vindictive First Sergeant.

Heh, heh, my number 1 supporters throughout my short military career were all the first tops. don't know why, but even when I stole the CO's jeep and fridge the top backed me up.

I can't dispute this. Hell, I like you.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

I think you would be hard pressed to find any charges that would stick from the VN era. 😛

Back in the day it wasn't so nice, neat and orderly. You were dumped in a strange land and prayed to whatever that you made it to the end of the day, never mind the next. When the chances of dying or worse (and there's worse) are as great as they were, no one got out the regs for such things.

I agree. They wouldn't stick, but it'd give the prosecutor something to do during their down time. The rule of law still applies in the U.S., though.

Christ Almighty, with all due respect to you, assuming you are actually in the military, you don't have a clue as to what it was like back then, any more than how nice it is for you pussies to be wearing body armor and have weapons that would have made us envious.

Don't ever equate your service with those who came before you. The rules were different.

Tell ya what OP, go on down to the local VFW, get sloppy drunk while complaining about us slack jawed low life civvies cuz we don't care. Be sure to give the barkeep your keys and try us later.

You're the man, you worthless piece of pig slop. You just denigrated all the brave men who hit the beaches at Iwo Jima and Normandy Beach. I'm sure the Maries who lost their lives at Chosin Resorvoir will be happy to share a brew with you. Maybe you can get a Khe Sahn survor to grill you a burger, you worthless piece of crap.

You don't have a clue.

Okay. I just met an aquantance at the supermarket today. He has been in more shit than most people that remain on this planet. He told me that you're a pussy. But don't try to even fathom that, 'cause it would be incomprehensible to you. I'm just saying. Besides he was at a reunion and there was another vet with more grandchildren. He was seething. Oh, he was in Vietnam, too. But more dangerous stuff than you.

Anyways, I just wanted to point out that in nearly every photo from Vietnam no one wore their flak vest. You know, their issued body armor. I mean, every picture with some troop wearing one shows it open. You're supposed to have it closed to protect you. I know, us current pussies can't fathom Vietnam hot. We're only accustomed to wearing body armor and helmets correctly in 130-140 degree heat.

Oh, now that you mention it, he was at the Chosin Reservoir. But he's still pissed that at least one grandaughter hasn't given him a great-grand child.

Proof positive you have no balls. Go to the nearest beer bar and get drunk with some Mongols.

Ah, Bellamy, for cryin' out loud. That's the the stinking, most awful, stupid joke and you're always pullin' that stinking awful stupid joke. You don't want in this thing, you don't get in this thing. I cut you out of everything. I don't need you.

My sister is buttugly. Nobody in their right mind would want to fuck her. On the other hand, I hear you have quite a cute ass and I have some people of your ilk lined up to take advantage of your rosey white ass.

It's a hairy, white ass. Like a goat in a blizzard.

Do you have a clue what our flak jackets were worth? Are you privy to the training we got before we were shipped over? Have you ever studied the history of the M16? Do you know what it's like to be left alone for weeks, hoping for rescue? I thought not.

Another clue! Soon, we'll have a mystery!
