My mom is mean to me. :(

It was raining really hard this morning. I met my mom for breakfast before work and as I was leaving the restaurant, I made some crack about having to run through the rain because I didn't want to melt. She said, "You know, salt melts too."

Ouch.

🙁

Should have followed up with:

"You know that bitch from Wizard of Oz melted too when they threw water on her"

I don't get it 😕
You call yourself the wicked witch of the west and your mom calls you a worse insult by calling you salt?

someone help me out here...

When it is raining out, some people will tell someone that they like to hurry up and get out of the rain because sugar melts. I was implying this upon myself whereupon my mom pointed out that salt also melts.

oh, ok...
stop being such a pansy

and to everyone else bugging him about sugar and salt not "melting"... get over it. It's a part of casual conversation, you know exactly what is meant by it.

edit: I guess HamburgerBoy is the only guy my post applies to.
But I still stand by my word in calling DainBramaged a pansy ... you pansy
