i was interviewing at a law firm and one of the partner's backgrounds was exactly mine - needless to say that interview went very well

The US Marine Core is paying for my college tuition and I wasn't even in the core. Try to figure that one out 🙂

Some people think private universities are worth double the costs, I honestly don't believe they offer double the education.

No, they don't, but the mindset is similar to why Harvard Business School is hard to get into - people don't go there for the education, they go for the name and for the connections they make.

You get a fucking great education there as well by the way.

Most of the time if one does get into a college like Harvard, they will find the money to keep you there.
