You wasted all day compiling your kernel. You could just use widows xp and save yourself the time and the effort.

It's been roughly 22 hours since you started,and your operating system still doesn't work.

Gentoo is sooo cool. I wish I used it.

Yes, I'm in x using fluxbox. Most of those 22 hours were spent fiddling with this god forsaken usb mouse, so i just said fsck it and switched to ps2.

P.S. This post made using lynx. :p

RTFM? Uh, I don't know for sure, anyway, since I've been using a "civilized" browser (Mozilla) for quite some time. The only time I use Lynx is when I'm stuck in text mode because I fvcked up X's configuration file while trying to add some oddball resolution or something like that. :eek:
