My girlfriend did the laundy. I had a check in my pants pocket.

Pants on the bedroom floor are messy and should not be there in the first place. To blame her for trying to keep the place tidy is cowardice.

...

Are you kidding?

No.
I'm betting $10 right here and now that you're mrs. civilicious

😀

I know you're trying to be funny and I can't blame you for that, as I usually have a strong sense of humor myself. Though, it really gets under my skin when people automatically blame somebody else for something that is quite simply you're own fault. Did she put the check in the OPs pocket? I doubt it. Has the OPs girlfriend done laundry before? I'm pretty sure she has.

I agree iwth Alone. if the pants are in the middle of the floor they are dirty. BUT they should be in a hamper.

If you blame it on her you don't deserve her. Thank her for doing your laundry and apologize for even considering it was her fault that YOU left a check in your pants.

Is that you again, Tizyler?

No, actually it was on the ground in the bedroom. It was the pants I wore last night. I came home late, took off my clothes, and hopped into bed. I left early this morning to do a photoshoot. I didnt think she'd do laundry this morning.

Well I admit this does change the situation, but to blame it on her entirely is not fair. This turns my judgement into 50/50 here.

Not even close. Pants on the bedroom floor are by no means discarded. He has no obligation to check his pants before going to bed.

keeping the place tidy = folding the pants and putting them on the dresser or on a chair or something... what guy doesn't kick off his pants onto the floor after getting home from a long day, hop into bed, and then put them back on the next day?

A guy who does not like wearing dirty clothes? I'll admit I've done it myself, but I've not blamed someone else for it.

It is a female for sure. Look at the logic.

You might want to be careful the next time you try to judge someone by their logic, because in this case you are wrong. And going by the poll, i'm not the only one who feels the way I do.

Edit: typo

That's typical female insincerity, right there

If you're going to tell great big fibs, at least make it sound mildly convincing 😉

Absolutely her fault. What idiot does the laundry without checking pockets? Her mother should have taught her that.

You may not know it yet, but you are a female.

No logic. Where see logic?

1. You're wrong, very likely Mrs. Civ. and lack any and all ability to use man logic.

2. Any laundry related items that are not *in the hamper should always be checked before transitioning to the laundry state. Only ?in the hamper? can be considered a safe storage state for items in need of the laundry state machine. Any item not in the hamper should be considered unsafe and must be secured before it is entered into the current laundry queue. It is the responsibility of the person processing unsafe items to ensure that they are secured before entering safe storage or the laundry queue.

*"in the hamper" refers to any previously designated deposit facility for secured laundry items.

3. Great care must be taken to avoid allowing unsafe items unsafe such as wallets, pens, and small animals into the safe storage. It is ALWAYS the responsibility of the person placing the items in a secure area to ensure that this does not happen. Failure to do so can lead to dire consequences such as use of the phrase "B!tch! Why dare is ink on my new shirt?!"

4. Understanding and enforcing the use of these rules will prevent many laundry related arguments, but they will not prevent arguments based on proper designated safe storage or current designated laundry processor. When involved in such an argument, one must remember that no matter who is right or wrong, always defer to the woman to allow for continued access to the nookie.

If they were in the hamper, it would be completely your fault. But that doesn't appear to be the case. While you are still partially to blame for leaving unwashable things in your pocket, I would put most of the blame on her.

But fvck it. Just be glad you have a girlfriend that cleans up after you and does your laundry.

So if you come home from work and leave your wallet in your pocket, but drop 'em for bed, it's still partially your fault? 😵

You're both at fault. She should have checked before throwing it in and you shouldn't be so careless with your money.
