I agree with CtK. He was in his own lane. It's like if you were driving in the center lane of a 3 lane highway and there's a really slow driver ahead and the left lane is crowded. You shift to the right lane to pass and while you're passing him, you get hit by the slow driver because he was trying to merge into your lane. It's his fault.

it takes two to tango and having someone else just ram you is an irrational event. I am not saying it cannot happen....I know all about insanity ploping itself at your door.

However, only now you have a concrete story to tell. In the beginning you were vague and inconsistant.

You should have known the following from the start:

I was in my own lane.

My lane does not end.

My lane continues without any merges into the turnpike.

He was trying to accelerate equally to me (you never mentioned this...but if you were behind him yet he never broke your stride shows someone was trying to outgun another).

He came into my lane and purposely hit me.
