I have female friends but I never call them or initiate anything. I can't imagine hanging out with them. When you hang out with friends you should be able to relax and enjoy yourself. With them I'd have to groom myself or some other stuff. Also, why would I go out with them? It's like taking sand to the beach.

Yep. I'm not saying marriage is for everyone or that all marriages are created equal, but I've never felt limited. I still hang out with my friends, watch all the sports I want, have several relatively expensive hobbies (skiing, golf, etc) that I never get crap about, and I have two awesome kids that I wouldn't trade anything for.

Hell, I told my wife the other day I was going to join a few of my neighbors in making some home brew, and her response was "should we finish the basement so you have a good space for it? She doesn't even like beer!

Then there's the 24/7 access to sex from someone I'm still wildly attracted to... so...

... if this is what it means to be "domesticated", then I'll happily wear that badge 😉
