Ok everyone says it's possible, but i'm reading online, and if i read correctly, on a 28 day menstrual cycle (which day 1 is the first day of her period), ovulation occurs on day 14 and women can get pregnant a few days before and after ovulation... does that mean she can't get pregnant those other days?

First of all, her cycle isn't normal compared to the average woman if it only lasts 3 days. That doesn't mean that anything's wrong with her physically, it just means those generalizations don't count when it comes to her. And a woman can get pregnant at ANY time. There are just some times when the chance is less likely or more likely.

listen to this man.....

Thanks dude.

Sperm can last up to 5 days. She can be fertile immediately after menstration cycle. Menstration cycles and periods of fertility are dependent on many factors, one certainly being the stress of worrying about being pregnant...

Worth a read.

So, where are you registered for the baby shower? If I can find something in hot deals, I'll see what I can do.

PS... she should be due on the 4th of July! Yankee Doodle Baby!

more accurately, a woman can only get pregnant when she is ovulating. the problem is, sometimes she ovulates early or late. and sperm can live in the body about a week.

is she usually really regular? does her period start about the same time every month? bc if she is, right after her period is one of the safer times according to the rhythm method of birth control to not get pregnant.

that being said, if i was her, i would be worried until my next period and i might look into the morning after pill, just in case.

Women's bodies vary so much that you can't make a rule about "safe" days. On top of that you have questions around how long sperm can live, whether the woman ovulates one or more eggs at a time, etc.

No easy answer here, you'll have to wait and find out.

The egg is fertilized while it decends down the fallopian tube. Sperm can live up to 7 days inside a woman.

ok thanks guys, i think it'll be ok since it's only "day 4"...

err, you want to take a risk with a maybe?

Low chance, but definitely in the realm of possibility.

To be serious, I think you have 14 days when it comes to her ovulation. You have 3 days to practically negate it with the morning-after pill.

I didn't read any of the replies above.

Relax, it is possible but it is Extremely rare. U know that haveing sex every day stil only has a average 10% chance of getting her preggers.

Please, save your witty banter, i know ATOT likes to crack jokes, but this is a little serious.

Yesterday was the last day of her period (her period lasts 3 days) and today we 'fooled around' a bit but we might have had an 'accident. Given that yesterday was the last day of her period, she is unable to get pregnant today, correct?

Since when did an unprotected sex became an "accident"? 😕
