One word of caution -

If she is *really* freaked out about this the stress can actually postpone her next period by *weeks* just further freaking both of you out.

If you don't go the "plan b" route, have her do a pregnancy test in three weeks so that she doesn't fret it and postpone her next cycle.

Yesterday was the last day of her period (her period lasts 3 days) and today we 'fooled around' a bit but we might have had an 'accident. Given that yesterday was the last day of her period, she is unable to get pregnant today, correct?

Well, since my wife and I are "trying" right now, I would say that there is a 99% she is not... even if you do it at the prime time of the month there is not that high of a chance..

However, you should get her on the pill...

There's always finding out the facts before the rest of your life depends on the answer.

But that doesn't seem to be a popular option.

Why didn't you just wear a condom you ****** dumbass? :p
Anyway fyi, a sperm lasts around 5 days as previously stated in a women's body. I don't care that much, because I have enough intelligence to:
a) Not have sex til I'm frickin married
and/or
b) If I did, I'd put on a rubber.

Pregnancy test won't pick it up for about 5-6weeks. When my wife got pregnant we tested the forth week and it come out -

tested again 5th week, one said neg, one said pos.
6th week, all pos.

Every situation is different. My wife got pregnant right after she got off the birth control pill. I mean immediately. She miscarried though, but 3 weeks after the surgery, the time we were told to refrain from any of that, she got pregnant again. So even though it may take some people months/years to get pregnant, it didn't take us any time.

Morning after pill NOW. And to prevent future "accidents", she should definitely get on birth control.

It is possible to get pregnant when you are on your period, just not likely. There is no 'for sure' when it comes to this.

The $40 the morning after pill costs is worth it's price many times over in not having to worry for the next month... and possibly about the next 18 years.

That being said, there's a very small chance she'll get preggers.

It all depends... Did you show her the "oh" face?

You know what I'm talking about - Oh, oh, oh, oh.

If yes, then preggers, if no then you're in the clear

Yeah it's pretty much impossible to get her pregnant..
The people saying congrats pop are just joking or don't know what they're talking about.
Saying it's possible for her to get pregnant is like saying it's possible for a baby to fully develop inside the womb in 2 months. Maybe there's a freak case one out of 2 billion, but it just doesn't happen.
