Hey - at least something good resulted from this! Your loss gave another needy animal a home, I'm sure you're feeling at least a little better 😉 My condolances and congratulations on the new puppy!

Sorry for your loss 🙁 🙁 🙁

Any chance you can post some pics of the new doggie? sounds really cute 😀

I will post pics of him as soon as I get my pics developed. His mom is sheltie, and father is cocker spaniel. I think he will favor his father. 🙂 I'm happy because Jody has a new body and feels no pain, and i love my new pup. Copper says hello!!!!!!!!!! ruff🙂

First of all, my condolences on the loss of your friend. I've had many pets come and go during my life (we used to raise bird dogs), and it never gets any easier to say goodbye.

<<If I see a dog walking down the road I take him and look for id tags and if they don't have them I advertise it in the paper. The last thing I want is to have a dog ran over by a cruel person. If I can't find the owner then I find him one. >>

Found ads are free in the paper here...I can't let an animal just hang out on the side of the road when I could stop and pick it up. This philosophy has caused me to currently own 6 dogs, 5 cats. All are equal members of the family. I just figure I am destined to occasionally find stray animals and give them homes.

I think you've done yourself a favor by getting a new puppy already. He'll never replace your old dog, and he doesn't want to....he just wants to make you happy. That's the joy of pets.

That's too bad, Fetts... I'm sorry for you..

A couple of years ago we had to have one of our puppies put down because he developed bone cancer in one of his front legs. That pretty much sucked all around. Poor guy was only 6. 🙁

Good luck with the new pup!. 🙂

Sorry for your loss, FB

My family's Yorkie (named Mickie) got killed over the weekend on the road. We all miss the little guy, but we do still have his girlfriend (a black min. pomeranian) to keep us company.
