edit: I was done with my first semester of calculus before my sophmore year....i would have taken pure electives for my last year or two of highschool if i stayed

No one is doubting your intelligence, but until you grow older and mature life is going to frustrate you because you are so young and in college. I am not saying you shouldn't be in college but I think a lot of though needs to be given on whether or no someone so young should be sent right out the door. It would make more sense for you to have graduated and went to a community college until you are 18.

There was a girl at the school I attended(magnet school for gifted students who wanted an IB diploma) and she was very good at math. She was incredible. The problem was that she was twelve years old and is at high school. She didn't fit in(you can hardly expect teenagers to be nice!) and left the school after a few weeks. Brilliant mind yet she was mature yet and neither were we!

Listen to Amused. He is posting everything I could ever hope to post. I lost my father young in a terrible accident. I would give ANYTHING to spend one more hour with him. I almost get teary eyed just thinking about him. I know that you are mad at your father. I will not flame you for it, because I had a lot of the same feelings for my step-dad and my mother when I was young. They pass with time and you will realize how much smarter your parents are than you. One last idea for those too young to get a checking or savings account in your state. Ask your parents to co-open an account with you. That way they can deposit funds without you having to drive or use mass transporation home. You still need to visit them as much as you can though.

No, not really. I was his exact age when I started college too. But I wasn't anything a spoilt brat as he is. My sis too was the same age. It's all about the individual. This guy is simply a spoilt brat. And the fact that he puts emphasis on his age tells me that he has no sense of social construct. It wouldn't matter if he were 18 or 20 years old.

There's nothing wrong with complaining if you disagree with dad, but that language was just overboard. He's indirectly apologised and realised that his dad cared, so I guess we can drop this.
