he's reluctant to drive me 10 minutes round trip to the mall, let alone school - he drove me to school about 2 or 3 times over about 8 monthes of school, even though i come home every weekend, 2 weeks is the max i've been away from this god forsaken hellhole.
live on-campus
do you not notice the weekend part? they bitch at me if i dont come home on the weekends, so i have to lie if i want to stay there and chill

Claim you want to safe money and therefor don't wanna use that expensive train.
Or claim the train broke down and you can't get home _just before Christmas_ :p

just stay the weekends that you don't need to go home. What are they gonna do? Drive up there and drag you home?

you're the one letting them boss you around.

just dont go home for the weekend unless your father picks you up. then dont go to school unless your father drives you back.

so what. u expect us to judge your father and agree that he is a f-tard because of this ONE act?? did he beat you as a child? did you stay up nights because he came home drunk every night and beat on your mother?? did he starve you? did he put out cigarettes on your arm??

OMFG, have a bit of perspective. sure it might be INCONSIDERATE of him to make you go w/o your computer (oh you poor fvcking baby) for a week or untill you can afford to arrange transportation to pick it up, but calling him a f-tard and somehow expecting us to agree w/ you??

man your nothing but a whiny POS in my book. anyone who completely disrespects his father over something sooo trivial so complete lack of discipline and a complete lack of character.

Quit giving the kid such a hard time guys. He is frustrated, and rightly so. I'm sure everyone flaming away is or will be PERFECT parents whose kids are the dumbasses. Face it, parents aren't always right. It sure would be nice if his dad would give him a ride to school so he could take his computer along. Having a computer, and not having it at college to use for classes, etc, seems pretty pointless.

He can try that too, if he has religious parents: 'Mom, dad, I can't come this weekend, my boyfriend has arranged something special for our anniversary!'

;)

actually, no i didn't notice the weekend part b/c you never said that they *made* you come home on the weekends. how hard is it to make up an excuse like a group project or hw assignment?

i do when i feel like it, but i need a replenishment on the cash supply every couple weeks - cant have a bank account because i'm <18

You can have a bank account when you are less than 18 FWIW.

What kind of dad won't drive their kids to school? I mean come on..its not like the kid is asking his dad to take him to the movies...
When I have kids and they need a ride back to college...sh*t I'd go out of my way to do it.
Sure he's a bit overboard calling his dad a f*ckin tard, but the man can't drive his kid back to school?

This is why they shouldn't let kids skip grades. Sounds like you aren't mature enough to be there. I wasn't at 16 either. It ended up screwing me up.

i never asked for a car...ur 16 for godsake..u dont' need a car...i never found a need for a car until 3rd yr of college (3rd yr now)....so just stfu man.....getting a car is a big financial decision....just find rides or take the train...i took the train to SD from LA ...and took my whole rig w/ me (look @ my rig...i had to carry one or the other during my time here in SD)...i never really asked for a car cuz i hated stripping my folks for money for a car...i worked for one...yeah just get a job ...it gets ur priorities straight.......no worries, u dad means well also...16 yrs old? sheesh...ur too young to drive...my cousin got into an accident due to a reckless 16 yr old.......there's always a way...if u have to take the train..then do so

i bet ur korean

EDIT: ok being young i admit i was a bit frustrated on not having a car...but i really didn't mind...get a job and u'll knw the true meaning of the dollar bill...yeah sucks he won't let u get a job, but do so anyways....it will most definitely get ur priorities straight (better time management)...get a parttime job at the library or an entry level IT thing...cool enough?

Well, I can say truefully that I have never, to this day, talked back or fought with my parents. I am now 20 years old.

So, I believe I can say that you are a bit out of line. Your dad can't be a "total f-tard" if he is giving you monetary support.

I'm not saying that he is wrong in this situation, you are just going over the top in your rant.

Oh, and I had a bank account when I was 16.
