3-1!!!! Aussies!! Yes!!! Finally they take advantage of Japan terrible defense in the box and score 3 goals in less than 10 mins.

Japan relaxed way too much in the 2nd half. They thought they could just escape with one goal. Then Australia kept pounding it in and their huge forwards just took advantage.

Trinidad didn't do that bad. I was surprised. I always root for the underdog. 🙂

Yeah and Angola was fantastic!! They lost but only by one goal against Portugal so they automatically win!!

I think this game is complete proof that ESPN made a HORRIBLE choice using American commentators instead of just using a feed from John Motson, Clive Tyldesley, or pretty much ANY British commentator, hahahaha. Seriously, how bad was that commentating? Everything from repetitive, uninspired analysis to misspeaking everything from referee calls to COUNTRY NAMES, hahaha.

Everyone involved in this ESPN broadcasting except for Dave Revisine and Tommy Smythe is bad. None of the other guys have any insight. They all just say the obvious. Where's Rob Stone?? He's probably better than half of these guys. Edit: I can't really say Revisine is bad, he's just the host of the WC show.

Do any of you guys know a proxy to stream this feed or the post with that info? I can't seem to find it.

It took them 15 minutes to figure out who the T&T goalie was even though his name was on the back of the Jersey.

No problem, I streamed a little bit of the Mexico v. Iran match yesterday because my ABC doesn't work. It was pretty good quality.

They should this this with every match...and not just tune in right before the kick off.
Seconds before they switched over to the England - Paraguay game on Saturday morning, they had a disclaimer on the screen basically apologizing to all the kids who were going to cry to mommy about their cartoon not being on. Really sad...

I can just see it today:

We apologize for bringing you defending World Cup Champions and Tournament Favorites, Brazil, in their opening match instead of your regularly scheduled midday Matlock.
