Spain's Muslim's Comdemn Suicide Attacks

"Spain's Muslims say they have suffered no backlash, but felt compelled to speak out against other Muslims who punished their adopted homeland so severely. The March 11 cell was made up largely of North African immigrants who had lived here for years.

The main organization representing Spain's million-member Muslim community, largely Sunni, condemned the train bombing and on Thursday issued what it said was the world's first fatwa, or Islamic edict, against bin Laden."

Very timely articles (even though many of them are over 5 years old), but I'm not sure the people who really need convincing are going to listen. They've crafted in their minds this idea that every Muslim who dislikes the US (not just the terrorists) was born with some mental defect that makes him or her irrationally hate this country, they very clearly reject the idea that our policies can have any effect on whether or not the non-terrorist Muslims like the US.

Even though this thread is a repost, as long as people keep starting threads whining about the lack of comment from the Muslim world on these issues, this thread should be a sticky!

Stop turning every Muslim thread into Israel/Jewish BS.

You said they condemned terrorism.... I'm showing you what's going on back home.
It's not my fault you don't like it.

It is? Here's a shocker, the Muslim World isn't a homogeneous entity having only 1 opinion on every or any subject. Go into any society and you'll find very diverse opinion, yet somehow you and those calling for Muslims to speak out on these subjects expect a single unified voice on the matter.

The OP shows widespread condemnation of such acts. The whole issue is pretty much settled and the demand for Muslim action, in this regard, was met a longtime ago.

I don't give a damn what is going on in Israel.

This is not Israel.
If you want to talk about Israel make an Isreal thread.

You said "going on back home".

Muslims do not have a "home". They are living all over the globe so you obviously meant your beloved Israel since you talk about the great Israel in every thread.

Back home, as in their respective countries in the Middle East, and I've given you proof of that via the links.

Your links to do not call for violence so why the hell did you post them?
The title of this thread is condemning violence so the opposite of that would be "calling for violence".

Stop ruining my thread with your BS Israel/Jewish vs Muslim crap.

That bolded point seems to be a VERY difficult one for a lot of people. I don't quite understand it, it seems pretty straightforward to me.

The dissemination and promotion of conspiracy theories nullifies any supposed condemenations, which essentially removes any responsibility from Muslims.

Not really.... when you have such prominent people promoting conspiracy theories, you don't break your head over what precentage thinks this or that -- it's all about who controls the power.

That's nice. It still doesn't go against the general Muslim population condemning violence.

You are linking me individuals and I have linked to you governments and masses of people.

You're kidding, right?
I gave you Fadhlallah -- religious leader of Hezbollah, as well as stuff that appears on Iranian TV -- and we know that everything there is controlled by the Ayatollahs.

Anyway, you haven't linked to squat.... you've linked to people supposedly representing masses, so if anything, you haven't provided anything better than what I did.

I dont see anything on Iranian T.V.
I see a transcript.
I see no video. I see nothing.
Why should I believe that website? I say it is BS. Show me the evidence. I want to see the videos!

My topic says reliable sources.

Look at my sources and then look at yours.

I could have posted 100x more articles but I decided to stick the the sites we all trust.
You should do the same.

Just go to the top level of the site, and search by the name of the links provided. All those transcripts accompany a video, so you can cry BS all day long.

i search for 851

Nice evidence. The website is pure crap and doesnt provide reliable information since one cannot see the actual clip without it being edited!!!!
