I like rock music...by rock music, I mean like the beatles, elvis, everly bros, sam cooke, and so on and so forth.
I also like house/dance music a lot...and trance.
I have little love for hip-hop, rap, etc
With this in mind, someone recommend me some music I would enjoy that is neither house/dance/rock or a fusion of any/all 3. so r&b, trance, alternative rock from any of the past 3 decades, hip hop, metal, etc are all good. I'll even try rap music and the like. THE catch is, you have to explain why the music you picked would be appealing for me to start in with and what I should be paying attention for (a particularly good solo, excellent instrumental, particularly excellent layering of tracks, etc).
I have a respectable listening arrangement here, (hd650s wired into my amp from a chaintech av710 in dual channel).
