How did you get 26.4 in my formula?
Last I checked the x300 is a 4 pipe card with a 128-bit mem bus. If that is correct, then the formula comes out to:

((350 * 4) + (250 * 128/16)) / 500 = 6.8

Which is still off, but now I'm wondering how did a x300 get a higher avg fps then mwmorph's 9800xt? Are you guys using the right settings? 1280x960, 4xAA, 8xAF, max details, no soft shadows,...?

This is sweet. As soon as my machine is running, I'll test with a 6600GT 128 and 6800GS 256. Adding MunkyMarks to my sig, with your permission...

Score = (core clock * (texture units + pixel shaders)/2 + mem clock * (bus width/16)) / 500 * nV or ATI development dollars paid^4

no soft shadows? I was using mines :confused:

Softshadows dont work with AA, and they dont look that good in that game. Also, leave dx8 shaders and pixel doubling off, as those settings reduce quality.

Really? well, I try test FEAR again lol :). Since i activated soft shadow w/ aa :eek:

OK, look at sig. How does MunkeyMark 2006 SPi edition sound? Course we'll have to run it by Munky, I guess...

EDIT: SPi is SPecial edition Invite-only. :) Oh, and the credits say MonkyMark.
