Should ROPs be a factor or a divisor or what? We must improve ze PrimateMarks until we can predict how Unreal 3 will perform on a GF6200!

Sweet. We're actually doing something constructive in the video forum...
Also, does anyone have a 128mb card to test, like a 6600gt or equivalent? I'm curious how accurate the equation is for those cards.

My bro's lap top is a 128MB 6600GT go, but I think he has too much pr0n on there for me to install stuff.

by your calculations,
(435*(8+8)/2+375*(256/16))/500,
I get 18.96.
something is not right.
am I making a calculation mistake or is my oced 9800xt a true beast, beating a 6600gt like that?
that sounds quite right actually...
lol i tried to set some setting on sp and it say i dont have enough vram and performance will degrade severely. i guess my bios modded pro/xt is showing it's (severe) age.
also no option to bench with retail game. currently dling mp demo.
I can bench just fine with the retail game - are you looking in the right spot?

well put it this way.
my program takes 0.000016 seconds to calculate your score, while 3dmark takes abouts of 10 to 20 minutes.
my program is a few kb, while 3dmark is few hundred megs.
my program will never crash your computer, while 3dmark might even shut it off...![]()

What I am trying to do is to get windows xp themes to work with the program because VB 6.0 does not support xp themes, and frankly the plain old gray window with the square buttons is not very appealing. there is a work around using xml language, and I am studying this right now.
