Should ROPs be a factor or a divisor or what? We must improve ze PrimateMarks until we can predict how Unreal 3 will perform on a GF6200!

That's classified and will be released as part of Version 3.0 in late 2006. Right now we're beta testing tho, so PM me for details.

No AEG though. Just straight beta testing. :)

Also, does anyone have a 128mb card to test, like a 6600gt or equivalent? I'm curious how accurate the equation is for those cards.

My bro's lap top is a 128MB 6600GT go, but I think he has too much pr0n on there for me to install stuff.

if your equation is very accurate... we can graph this relation and map out where the best settings would be

I have another question... Is this formula good for F.E.A.R. only or is supposed to represent performance in all games?

by your calculations,
(435*(8+8)/2+375*(256/16))/500,
I get 18.96.

something is not right.

am I making a calculation mistake or is my oced 9800xt a true beast, beating a 6600gt like that?

that sounds quite right actually...

lol i tried to set some setting on sp and it say i dont have enough vram and performance will degrade severely. i guess my bios modded pro/xt is showing it's (severe) age.

also no option to bench with retail game. currently dling mp demo.

I can bench just fine with the retail game - are you looking in the right spot?

no i am not and I finalyl realized it after I dled and installed the multiplayer patch. still the munkymarks have been debunked.

I get average 11fps 1280x960 4xaa 8xaf all max, cpu settingfs medium.

where's my 19 dammit!

currently working on a splash screen, I am at school thou and wont be home till later tonight. the thing that is going to take me the most is putting all the card's specs into cases or if statements. For every case that the user clicks on a card, the values of the variables core, memory, pixelpipe, vertexpipe, and such have to change. Its really all typing, otherwise its easy.

What I am trying to do is to get windows xp themes to work with the program because VB 6.0 does not support xp themes, and frankly the plain old gray window with the square buttons is not very appealing. there is a work around using xml language, and I am studying this right now.

cheers.

ps munky, finally I have something to do at school in these massive breaks between one lecture and another.

It is my hope that one day MunkyMarks will replace 3DMark and all other synthetic benchmarks. Munky, PM me so we can get some VC funding and go IPO soon.

well put it this way.

my program takes 0.000016 seconds to calculate your score, while 3dmark takes abouts of 10 to 20 minutes.

my program is a few kb, while 3dmark is few hundred megs.

my program will never crash your computer, while 3dmark might even shut it off... :D

I can give you code to do it so you can embed it into your program if you want, but it's more complicated than the .manifest file to be honest. How are you calculating clock speeds (specifically overclocks)?

nice job munky...

but i think your equation doesn't work if two cards has the same specs but not the same architecture...i.e 5200 and 9550...

also you should make the FEAR test at 1280x1024 since all the actual fps are a little above the numbers

Ok, I think I messed something up. I have a mobility X300 with a core of 350 and memory of 250 (woohoo) and by my Munkycalc I get 26.4, but when I run the FEAR test at those settings I get 15 as my average. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Oh wise Munky, please enlighten me :D
