Isn't he also a Republican?

My guess is that he is the sort that's actually dismayed and anguished by the direction his party has taken and if he can exorcise their demons, maybe it could be restored to some level of respectability before it is completely destroyed.

He could pull a Hillary and say that he does not recall, has no recollection, or can't remember. I don't think her lawyers told her to say those things because the woman has got morals and scruples oozing from every pore of her body.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander, right?

Much like Sessions conveniently can't remember anything that has to do with Russia, no matter how basic the detail?

Clinton may 'happen' to forget things, and that's bad, but that doesn't excuse the Trump administration. If you believe that selective memory is wrong, you must always condemn Trump and crew.

"But Hillary!" is some sort of magic incantation to ward off evil...

It's to ward off the experience that people who where made to feel they were only worth something when they believed and conformed to a certain line of propaganda will die of that humiliation if they discover all of it was a lie. They were made in a way that it becomes incredibly dangerous to examine the truth of themselves, the reality of their moral beliefs, that their most sacred and holy beliefs that give them a sense of self importance, are tissue paper lies. They live in a state of denial motivated by terror. Had they not buckled as children, had we not all buckled somehow, we would not have survived. We hate the other who we were told wasn't in the good group and doesn't deserve to be loved. We hate because we were warned never to love. Hate is the death of empathy for the self.

Yes and I believe he was a Bush appointee

Never true. First off, we can nearer know if somebody remembers something or not because it isn't our memory, but even if she were lying, some thing you are sure of but have no actual way of knowing, that would not make it ok for trump to do.
But you would of course extend the same benefit of the doubt to Trump that you have to Hillary, right?

That ax swings both ways. 20 plus years of Hillary witch hunting shows that. That being said, I don't believe there is any there there with regards to Russia. If Trump goes down, it will probably be due to some other corruption. I am rather skeptical that he will go down at all. He probably has a legit chance of re-election. His base support is rock solid.

I did I thought the russia investigation was a bunch of BS til he fired comey. Its only gotten more obvious since. At the same time I never gave hillary any benefit I thought she was a crook from the beginning.

Their plan is to start with taking SS away from them. Magically, there's now an extra 1.6 trillion deficit so the rich and corporations could have MOAR MONEY. The coming Republican solution? Shred what remains of our tattered and already insufficient safety net!
True enough.

But I was talking about sucking the youth out of the young and injecting it into themselves. We're not there yet but when science fiction becomes reality the wealthy will stay young forever, there'll be no need for strength and vitality in others, just broken, hunched-over laborers. (Science fiction nut here)

I look at Mueller as Alexander Haige, kind of emotionless, not the guy who is going to be a Cuck (some AT members need this lingo to understand), not a guy who is very happy with accomplishments
Hell I remember some conference around the time the Berlin Wall came down and someone asked Haige how the meeting went and he was like “productive” then walks away. The guy negotiated a huge deal and that’s all he had to say.
Yea, a model of stability. Remember this?

I believe it would be morally wrong to assume that I know what anybody but myself remembers, just as I am perfectely aware of such things as knowing that I do not take drugs even though I am often assured by others that I must because the things I say apparently sound unusual to many people.

If Trump were to go out on 5th Avenue and shoot somebody in front of a thousand eye witnesses, however, and claim he didn't remember. I would just seek his trial for murder, not for failure to remember it. The evidence would be what matters, a thousand eye witnesses being more credible, than the denial of a perp. This is why evidence is gathered, so that people with bias can't convict people as a matter of their own personal opinion without evidence pointing to real guilt that is beyond a REASONABLE DOUBT. To do otherwise is un-American and against what America stands for. Yours is the very kind of thinking our Forefathers sought to stamp out.

Supposition of guilt without substantiating proof is what the Bible also rails against, the sin of bearing false witness. If you are a Christian you cannot be a conservative because conservatives hold biases based on gut feeling. And there are also consequences for that: Judge not that you not be judged. It's an actual and real judgement, by the way, that is always and ineluctably rendered, whether you believe in God or not. It is either divine in origin or a projection of our true selves, so it really doesn't matter which. Those who commit it are automatically condemned. It's also known as Karma.

This is also the last thing anybody will ever want to know, that we have condemned ourselves to the guilt we see in others and why our lives are, as a consequence, an unconscious living hell, and why, too, the world is filled with self destruction and misery. It is also what Christ came to release us from by his conscious death as analogy, so we might know we have been forgiven, that the extinguishing of the ego self leads to resurrection and the joy of being.

We are all quite insane because there is only love.

How he likely handles it is to not pay much attention to the outside world and do his job. His subordinates can inform him of anything relevant. I should think when Nunes pulls his crap he says to himself "Thank you for supporting my investigation although you might believe otherwise".

I believe the Russia probe is a losing hand for the Democrats. I don't know that it is, it is just my opinion. Each day that passes without a criminal indictment convinces me a little bit more. If Trump is not indicted for something, this could blow up in the Democrats' face. There are generally real political consequences of investigations that end without a criminal indictment against the main target.
