I was wondering when you would pipe up :p

Just buy what you want...if you want to save £££, save £££, if not get the more pricey car! Only the buyer can decide if $25k is worth the premium.

For me it'll always be 2nd hand cars! 5-8yr old cars FTW! By then they are literally 30-50% off full price :D

Running costs are another issue. I get a whooping 250miles per £68 ~ $100 with my liberal right foot. Thank f0ck I did not commute in my car as it would cost A LOT over the year.

Mustang GT might actually be more expensive than an M3 in UK

Learn to follow the thread. The GT500 was brought up due to its obvious relevance to post I quoted. Do I need to quote it again, or do you think you can find the reading comprehension skills necessary to figure it out on your own?

I see, only you can decide the relevance of something when another poster continues and corrects some side comment you brought up, my bad.

anyone who says this obviously has not driven an M3.
go drive one, then get back to me.

again, haz moar sole.

I was making fun of your improper use of "sole" instead of "soul." I would love an M3. But, compared to a GT with the money difference pouring into it, you'd have to be a pretty big M3 fanboy to still take the M3 over the Modded GT.

There is that annoying ocean in the way.

It's more than that. The ocean doesn't make up the $25K.

If the prices were on par...I'd take the M3 no question. With the $25K difference, it is harder to justify the M3.

Not relevant. The comparison is to the 2011 GT, not the previous generation Gt500.

You said that the GT500 didn't handle better than the 2011 GT, the quote was not comparing it to anything, simply stating that it corners with the best AWD cars out there. Even the 2011 GT doesn't get praise like that.

Of course, with your habitual selective comprehension I doubt you'll understand that.
