🙁

Farewell to one of the kindest, most caring souls ever. You will be missed. Future generations are at a loss without you. Thank you for all your contributions, your love, and your guidence. Your memories will be carried on through the 40 years of TV broadcasts that you gave to us.

Rest in Peace, my friend.

Forever your neighbor,

Beau

What a great guy.
Well, at least I no longer have to prove to people that he's not dead (you would not believe how many people thought he was dead already!).

i honestly thought he had passed away already 😱

You weren't alone 🙂

🙁

Even though I knew he was old and battling cancer it still hit me like a ton of bricks when I heard it this morning. I remember when he was retiring from his show a couple years ago they gave him a special award at the Emmy's. It was amazing to see the impact he had on virtually all of those major celebrities gathered in the concert hall as he brought many to tears with his gracious acceptance speech. He will be missed but certainly not forgotten.

I will miss him very much. His show was one of my favorite shows from when I was a kid. Did you know that his mother knit all his sweaters that he wore on the show?

Mr. Rogers was one of very few people on T.V. who were good role models for kids and adults. He will be truly missed, but never replaced.

i didn't know that.

I just found out that Mr. Rogers' middle name was McFeely. That's where the delivery man got his name.

I say that we all visit the crayon factory in memory of Mr. Rogers. Btw, i heard as a rumor the other day that he always wore long sleeves because he had a tatoo on one of his arms, true? If so that would have made him just that much cooler.
