What do you expect... anytime you have two vehicles that heavy collide, there is going to be major damage.

Looks like that Dodge is a 1 ton duallie, and the Hummer is sort of a cross between a 1/2 and 3/4 ton Chevy. Looks like they got a similar amount of damage.
I'd say that the Hummer won.

BTW, that Hummer is nowhere near totalled. It probally has 15k of damage, but that isn't enough to total something that costs that much.
They'll just slide another frame under it, and repair the sheet metal.

The Dodge being older, probably is totalled, from a value standpoint.

As far as the H2 being similar to the Chevy Trucks, if they take parts for Chevy trucks and modify them for use, then in my book, that makes the H2 a warmed-over Silverado with different sheet metal.

Same thing. Don't know why anyone would think differently. A Hummer isn't a tank. It will crumple just like that H2 did if it hits a freaking 1 ton duallie truck.

Are you kidding? There's no way in hell that either of those cars would ever drive the same again. They're both totalled. I mean, damn... look at it.

It looks like the Hummer has more damage cause it's closer, I agree that the damage is pretty even.. but that Hummer would need everything replaced from the middle of the car back, and even then there's no telling what it did to the rest of the frame.. bet the back doors have problems.

I've fixed worse-looking cars before, and our body shop fixes cars that are hit that badly every day.

Now I'm not going to sit here and say it will be identical to a new one; the way they build cars nowadays, it's almost impossible to do that anymore, but that vehicle can most certainly be repaired, and most likely will.
