i think much leaves to the imagination with this game

I will say though that the AI and depth of the game is impressive.

I'm a sucker for medieval times and the cool combination of tactical combat and RTS fills that void well

MP is fun

Ya I can tell that there is tons of depth in this game. Please someone talk me into this game!

So I've had warband since release but never played it that much.  I just recently reinstalled with the floris mod pack and have been getting into the single player campaign.

I have a decent start so far, 75 man army mostly in the tier 3-5 range and about 15k in the bank.  What's a good course to go from here?  I'm thinking about joining a faction but I don't have any real preferences for one faction or another.  How do you get a foothold for owning land & villages if you don't join a faction?

choose your own path! Make your name under a faction, you can request fiefs for your heroic deeds in faction wars. You can also begin making friends and expand peoples loyalties to you.

You can also turn into a brigand and simply rape and.pilage your way to the top, which is very difficult

Or start your own economic empire,.buying a business in every city with no loyalties to anyone except that to the coin.

I think either way, its a suitable bt long journey to get that succesful retirement to end the game on

Just reinstalled after a Hiatus. I love this game. It would be nice if a bigger developer could pick this up and drop some cash into it without totally destroying it.
