How depressing is it that OP's reaction to everything he dislikes is to make fun of it or try to mock it? What does that achieve?

I wish sedition and treason irked you as much as the women who get you frothy at the mouth so often.

Ignoring the actual war on democracy while you flail about trying to convince people of a war on language, on cherished pronouns!

It's like you don't want to be taken seriously. Everytime you reveal your real priorities, it's like watching a wannabe tough guy try to intimidate others - by punching himself squarely in the face, repeatedly.

Is that what he's trying to do? Because all I see is a moron pissing in his own mouth while screaming about how liberals are the downfall of all things because RERWAArerwelrjelrjewlrrgarglegarglegargle!!!! Takes a special level of stupid to be a clown where you can't even tell he's clowning anyone but himself.

Basically,

I just read the opinion piece and I dont really see the problem.

I'm not keen on Fathers day. I'm a dad all year round, I like to think that my kids appreciate me all year round.

Lady says that she personally isnt that keen on Mothers day. I'm not sure how thats become a controversial topic.

There's a bunch of days that are just there to monetarise sentimentality and I can see why people would object to a lot of them. Doesn't mean that you cant enjoy them if you want though.

Doubt OP read the Wapo opinon. It was pretty unoffensive, even to a conservative bot/moron. Had nothing to to with "gender neutral naming". Women do more of the housework, does the framing of mother's day reinforce this? Not sure I 100% agree, but a valid enough take. Shouldn't be a big deal to anyone.. *shrug

1) I'm literally a non-binary person (and parent), I've never interacted with another NB that takes issue with Mother's Day or Father's Day. Parent's Day also already exists on July 25th.
2) The WaPo article, as mentioned, doesn't appear to have shit to do with OP's frothy rant.
3) "Oh no, people on Twitter are saying things again! My feelings are getting fucked!" 🙄

Yeah, seems to be no sign that the OP even read that Wapo article - just linked to anything that came up in google search for 'don't like mothers day', maybe?

You uhhh... do realize that the ONLY way to report on this would be an opinion, right? The point is that it's becoming mainstream endorsed courtesy of what is commonly considered "reputable".

This should be mocked to the fullest extent for the absurdity, stupidity, and generally how this is unprofessional and something that only comes from 12 year olds that haven't reached adult-hood.
Shit and run, typical of someones posts.

You realize its a Hallmark Holiday right? Right?

@s0me0nesmind1 Your recent posts and thread show that you make claims that no one believes is true. It also seems that you read things in articles, where when others read the article they can not find what you have read or seen in tbe article. It also seems that this issue occurs to you sporadically, and it seems you can't control these episodes.

This is just my opinion and I am not a psychiatrist and nor did study psychiatry, but I am sorry to say I think you suffer from Schizophrenia.

What he suffers from is a massive, and blinding, ideological bias. I suppose driven by some perception of self-interest, both personal and at a group-level It's a sociological problem not a psychiatric one. I don't really like the idea of throwing around psychiatric terms (though I would make an exception for Trump himself, who pretty clearly has something wrong with him in that respect).

He will never respond to this or anything like it.

I live in one of the most nutter butter "leftist" districts in the entire country. My congressional rep is Jackie Spears. I'm right next door to the great liberal Satan Nancy Pelosi's district.

I know it's nuts, and people might die just hearing me say this... But we wish each other merry Christmas around here. Not happy holidays.

We celebrate Easter. There are a lot of churches. My wife and I are looking into Catholic schools for our daughter.

I have never once heard anyone at all say this anything about "Mother" hurting the feels of non-gendered folks. The only place I'm hearing this is from the conservatives I know. It must be making the circles, cause it showed up in r/conservative a couple days ago and my FIL started a rant about it the other day.

The Culture War is just like any war folks: the rich get richer while the true believers die in the trenches.

Change is hard, this reaction is the protection of ego and a pretty typical thing IMO. Conservatives, IMXP, suffer from this more than Liberals. I was raised strict Conservative, and it was a very typical and acceptable response to things that didn't fit our definition of acceptable. As an adult, challenging myself to change this has probably been one of the harder things I've attempted, but opening the mind to new ideas does have it's benefits.

The thing is when they're clearly making clowns of themselves it becomes obvious their issues are just due to their own fucked up mentalities.

The sad thing is they're completely oblivious to what complete and total clowns they are being. I've pointed out before the moronic "I love the smell of liberal butt hurt in the morning" (by someone that used to laugh at the "you eat pieces of shit for breakfast" bit from Happy Gilmore and yet didn't notice he was being Shooter McGavin in that scenario), and plenty others. They really are so fucked in the head they cannot see how ridiculously stupid they're being.

Its like that video of the crazy woman that's shrieking at the truck driver and starts bawking like a chicken and then rolls into the ditch and other shit. If they had to actually see themselves they'd probably be embarrassed but they simply cannot gain the self reflection necessary to even be able to have any sort of introspection about "oh, no, I'm being a dumbass" and then they're tripling down on it because they have entire gaggles of other idiots cheering them on.

I've said it before, I think the only way is to make them watch themselves. If they had to actually see how fucked up they're being I think they'd start to change. But as we see, they don't bother doing any of that. Look at our resident king of dipshittery that is the OP, he clearly isn't reading or actually watching any of the shit he's citing unless its a single pic of something he's being outraged about, because if he was his own brain would likely prevent him from turning into the frothing at the mouth moron that he becomes for his clownshow.

I think the reason Turmp only watched Fox News is because they were the only ones that would edit out the ridiculous shit that showed him what a clown he was being. If he had to actually see himself it would have destroyed his fragile ego.
