In all fairness to the question, I would have to say the first battles of the Revolutoinary war.Not only did it define modern warfare(guerrilla warfare was born),but the resulting nation is either the source of almost every major tech innovation or provided the education for it's inventor. It also changed the entire political structure and attitude in the world. If you think about it , this country has only existed for a little over 200 years. The influence on all aspects of every day life in the entire civil world is profound. I think it is understood that this would never have taken place without other religious happenings, but given the time factor and far reaching indelible affects, this has to be it.

i'm not religious, but the birth of ol' JC has to be it. he has played a huge role in the development of modern culture.

What has he contributed to "modern culture"?

Uh....duh :disgust:

Instead of just being critical and derisive, try to actually think critically, and answer the question. What HAS Jesus Christ really contributed to modern culture? Let's see a list, with explanations for each entry.

Nobody can answer this? Hmmmmmmmmmm.......

Agriculture, unless you count the actual evolution of humans.

If you mean recently, then the invention of the printing press.

The last episode of Seinfeld.

By the way, they're real, and they're spectacular.

uhh... he died about 2000 years ago, so you're not very likely to find proof that he exists, are you ??
