What is it with American tourists and talking really loudly?
That sounds more like the effect of being idiots, not American. Although the two are probably related more than I'd like to admit.
As for the thread in general, you don't have to be running around like an idiot with a flag over your head to have pride in your country. The biggest indicator to me is the number of American emigrants. If they didn't love, enjoy, and have pride in their country, they would leave.
I seem to remember saying something every morning to our flag in school....
Last time I went to a sporting event they played the national anthem, and mid-way through the game they sang God Bless America
If this doesnt make you well with nationalistic pride, I dont know what would. (nsfw language)

Reebok is now German.
Reebok is now German. Books? That is decidedly unAmerican. Sushi is Japanese. Taco Bell is bad Mexican food. Slavery is definitely American though.
I'm not convinced you know how to read. Because what you said has nothing to do with what I said.Yes, that's why Mexicans come here. Because they love, enjoy, and have pride in America.
Not.
It's called $$$. Also known as
dough
green
coin
folding stuff
dosh
lolly
spondullas
dead presidents
clams
moola/moolah
bread
You do realize that movie is actually a parody of how nationalistic we are...so yes I realize that some things in that song are meant in jest. (Sushi/taco bell)
I was talking about the military machinery, which we are the best in the world at.
I have an English friend who thinks Kiwis are too nationalistic/proudI've met a bunch of international students (Pakistani, British, Chinese) and they all comment how funny they find patriotism to be, and how they don't see it in their respective countries.
The only "Americans" that don't have national pride are the immigrants that left their country because it sucks, but worship their old country.
and which are to become miserable and dirt poor (Cuba).
What we need is a national team to get behind.
AMERICAAAAAA
FUCK YEA!
I'm sorry... you're confusing us with Fuckdel Castration.
I'm pretty sure he decided that cubans would become dirt poor.

...are you kidding? Coming from someone not American, I view Americans as the most nationalistic country on Earth. You should meet a Canadian if you want to meet nationalistic apathy.
If Canada died most Canadians would go 'oh.. that kind of sucks.. hmm.. is there still Timmys? ok, then we're fine'
Hmm I'm with my bro on this, Americans always seemed more patriotic than pretty much anyone TBH. And there's a lot of things Americans ought to be proud of. But Americans also need to recognise their weaknesses and not become complacent, because that's leading you down a path of slothfulness and arrogance.
