As for the thread in general, you don't have to be running around like an idiot with a flag over your head to have pride in your country. The biggest indicator to me is the number of American emigrants. If they didn't love, enjoy, and have pride in their country, they would leave.

We are very nationalistic here, as GA metioned. Once you get to college and hear the liberal America-hating professors tell you how bad this country is, then liking this country isn't "cool" anymore. Eventually you sell your Macbook, get a job and enter the real world.

Yea never really understood that. They risked their lives to LEAVE their country yet when they get here they have so much pride for it. Me being in LA I obviously see it all the time.

In fact, America controls the world. America decides which countries are allowed to live, grow healthy, and grow in wealth (China) and which are to become miserable and dirt poor (Cuba). America can go to war with every other country in the world at the same time and win. Americans have everything to be patriotic about. People from other countries do not.
