You're going on about how insensitive it is to state a simple fact. Why? Is this one of those things where we're supposed to use a wink and a nod instead of simple truth?

It's the wording.... it's not the end of the world just one more little thoughtless and inconsiderate act to be fair but still.

For too long the "wink & nod" has been the default-response to offensive/bigoted content and I'm not okay with that anymore, that's all. (I've been guilty of this myself in the past)
