Mom wants justice for her son killed while robbing a store

Can't make this stuff up!

Edit: this picture below is both amusing and appropriate given the story, it is not a real picture. Someone photoshopped it. The story contains a woman that is acting like the man in this picture though. Consider this your trigger warning.

It's one of the true disappointments that that sign is photo-shopped, it would be the greatest meme ever if real. This country needs a forced sterilization program for the criminally stupid, that woman can't be allowed to breed again.

I can't make fun of her for wishing this situation had ended differently. She actually seems like a nice enough lady and she's been through a terrible personal tragedy. That being said, her son 100% created the situation that led to his death (by, himself, pointing a loaded gun at a gas station clerk), and I would never second-guess the man who killed him (potentially saving the innocent clerk's life in the process).

Well, I might argue the guy should go to jail, but only for the reason that he's a convicted felon who had a gun....though the article doesn't say when he was last convicted and I don't know for sure if it was illegal for him to own said gun.

True, but even if he illegally possessed a gun I would not fault him for having used it in this situation.

What will be next? Guys that want to rape women should be spare from harm, including death by gun shots from the victims? Just let those bastard rape and then call 911 after the facts? Unbelievable.

Laws preventing released felons from owning firearms are just another form of promoting second-class citizens.

Not all felons are kept from legally owning guns. Non violent offenses like writing a bad check over $500 is a felony, but will not keep you from owning a gun. At least not in every state.
