one reason for thongs is so it doesnt show panty-lines.
......but i fail to see why that would matter for a 12 year old. 0.o

whats wrong with that?
Its not like shes buying it to impress men, its just a form of underwear.
Not a big deal
So if you had a 10 years old daughter, you would let her wear thongs so boys and sadly...older men would stare at it? And nothing is wrong with this?

The other day, I was escorting two female friend shopping. It so happen, they want to pick out some underwear from Victoria's Secret. So I am standing there picking out their choice, right across I notice a lady in her mid-30s with a 10-12 years old girl. The girl who work there ask the lady what size she is looking for. The lady immediately check the girl size and shout out "oh, she a extra small" and giggle afterward. I was just mind-blown by this scene. What kind of mother encourage 10-12 girl to wear thong? Am I the only one that see this as wrong?

I don't think it's really a big deal. Perhaps the daughter wanted to "fit in" or try out a thong and see how it was. You know how girls are always wearing makeup and dressing up to try and seem older (almost like playing house). Maybe this was a reward for her b/c she got all A's on her report card. Now if the mom is buying the girl thong underwear and encouraging low rise jeans where the thong hangs out of the back, then it's not cool. But to me it may just be a case of the girl playing "dress up"

Im sorry folks but 12 year olds arent innoccent.
They might not have been wearing thongs, but back when I was 12 a rather large number of guys and girls were quite sexually active, and that was 12-13 years ago.

You do realize that the primary reason girls/women wear thongs isn't to impress men, right? It's becuase once they get used to them they're supposedly more comfortable.
