Perk, you and I have had our infrequent disagreements in the past, but I gotta agree with you on this one. Modern Family, in my opinion, is the best new show this season. I don't think there's been a stagnant episode at all and it has such a wide array of characters.

Oh and an interesting fun fact... the actress that plays Haley ( http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0405103/ ) is actually 19 😛.

Also, I agree... Julie Bowen is quite beautiful for her age!

Cougar Town is also interesting... sometimes I feel a bit awkward for watching it, because it can be rather girly, but then the males pop in and do a bunch of amusing, stupid shit that makes it seem a lot less girly 😛.

The problem with TBBT is that the episodes are either hit or miss... I either laugh a good amount or pretty much not at all. Yesterday's episode was alright, but last week's was definitely better.
 
I just checked it out, out of curiosity at the mention of a gay couple on ABC TV, and surprisingly they weren't as cliche' as I would have thought. A bit maybe but the bigger dude is def well written for and he's a convincing actor.

The best gay couple on TV ever are the guys from the Sarah Silverman Program (Brian Posehn and the bigger dude). I really don't care for the show (or SS) aside from the lovely Mr. Show cameos but they nailed that shit out of the park. The TAB episode in particular.

The Spandau Ballet episode is one of the funniest episodes I have seen on any show. I still joke with my brother about that one.
 
The only complaint I have about the show is the one teenage daughter does NOTHING but bitch and play on her cell phone the entire show. I don't think I've ever seen her smile.

Dude, it's a sitcom. How funny would it be if all the characters were totally realistic?

Teenagers are bitchy and spend lots of time texting, moping in their room and generally ignoring their families. Since it's a comedy show, those behaviors are obviously exaggerated.
