Best show currently on the tube.

The gay couple are hands down THE funniest comedic couple going.

And . . . the rest of the cast -- Ed Bundy, his hot latina wife, the doofus dad -- all fairly rock as well.
 
Who the fuck is Ed Bundy?

Show is ok, its funny, but tries too hard (its still in that awkward new show phase), and really seems to be following some formula. Its good, but I don't feel compelled to watch it. Same with Better Off Ted and the new Scrubs. I'd say the same thing about the one with the Janitor from Scrubs, but I only ever saw maybe 2 episodes.

Yea, it's a pretty funny show. I'm surprised it's not talked about more often as it's one of my more favorite comedies as of late. I love the interactions between Manny and Jay. 🙂

That was a short between seasons break then.
I don't know what the best show on tv is.

I never claimed to have superior levels of smartness. not sure how this even applies in this thread anyway.

Anyway, since you did say it was FAR from the best show currently on TV, you simply can't be dumb enough not to be able to name 3-4 better shows, right?

the show is funny as hell. Cam (fat gay dude) is the funniest, IMO. Manny is the next funniest...too bad he didn't get any airtime in this episode. This show is probably wife and my favorite half hour on tv right now.
 
There are some good new comedies this season.
Modern Family is great, The Middle is pretty good, even Cougar Town is surprisingly funny since I hated Courtney Cox in everything else she's been in (including Friends).
Of course they are all better than How I Met Your Mother. Someone suggested that I would like it based on other shows I enjoy and I laughed twice in 4 episodes. 🙁
The gay couple in Modern Family is one of the funniest and least annoying in a long time. I usually can't stand the stereotypical homosexual couple in shows, especially sitcoms, but they really make it work without being obnoxious or annoying.
Manny is funny too..."Coal Digger"...LOL.
 
Watched the first episode last night - seems like a pretty average sitcom to me. I'll see if it improves in episode 2.

On another note, I love this show it's great. It all fits together perfectly.
